The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of 12 detective stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle. It was published in 1892 and is the first collection of stories about Holmes. At the same time, in four stories out of twelve, the crime, as such, is absent. In a number of stories, the criminals remain unpunished for one reason or another, and the theme of the acquittal of the falsely accused is also constantly present.
